| bsa | "I
worked with Ryan in my capacity as Cubmaster of Pack 3822. Ryan was our
District Executive, and as such supported all of the Troops, Packs,
Crews, etc. in our rather large district. Ryan was always extremely
helpful and dilligent in his duties. He would go out of his way to
ensure that those he served had the resources to succeed. As
volunteers, our time and schedules called for flexability which Ryan
provided beyond expectations. As for his interactions with the scouts,
Ryan always engaged them in an age appropriate manner, yet
respectfully. He helped us have fun, while at the same time making sure
we were set up for success. Our pack and our district will miss him and
we wish him the best of luck in future endeavors.” - Todd G. (via linkedin, 2009) |

“Ryan
was an exceptional student in my marketing communication class at
Columbia College. We have remained in contact since he graduated. He is
very capable and I am delighted to recommend him." - Jane C. (via linkedin, 2008) |
| "More
recently Ryan and I have come together in SIFE, an international
organization active on 1600 university campuses in 42
countries.
SIFE mobilizes student teams to better their communities by teaching
free enterprise principles and creating economic opportunity for
others. Ryan was a founding member of our Columbia SIFE team and has worked diligently to grow the team as well as execute projects in keeping with the SIFE mission. I am pleased to say that this team, organized for less than one semester won Midwest Rookie of the Year honors at the annual SIFE conference last April. This was in no small part due to his strong values, vision, diligence and team leadership." - Mike S. (via letter of recommendation, 2005) |

| "Ryan
is a very mature and responsible individual, and has the ability to
work well with a diverse group of people, as evidenced through his
group work in class. Ryan possesses a great deal of creativity
and produced extremely innovative and well-planned ideas for his
special event planning project. ... Ryan is one of the most positive and hard-working students that I have taught. He always attended class with a smile on his face and was very active in class discussion. Ryan is a positive influence on his peers, and faces challenges head-on." - Andrea G. "Shortly
after Ryan Yepsen joined the radio program, it was clear that he would
become the stations Business Manager. His promotional creativeness and
business savvy had not been displayed by any student before Ryan, nor
has it since. WLCA has always been a promotionally active radio
station. However, the quality and quantity of our promotions increased
significantly under Ryan’s leadership. He developed and executed
a number of successful promotions for WLCA including the highly
successful “V.I.P.” promotion. Ryan was able to attract
several new clients to the radio station with this promotion, and a
number of new listeners because of the promotion. We used this
promotion again this summer, and plan to use again next summer. Ryan
also displayed exceptional managerial skills by directing other
students in both the promotion and sales departments. It is rare that I have the opportunity or enough humility to call a student my “promotional equal.” I usually save that kind of praise for when they have proven it as professionals. “Promotional superior” will most likely be the praise I will have for Ryan Yepsen, the professional." - Mike L..
